Nicholas Kirkwood Designs A $7,000 Shoe For Fall 2011
Nicholas Kirkwood Fall 2011 shoes collection was unveiled by the designer a few days ago in Paris. Standing out were the Moroccan slipper inspired sandals. Rising high on Kirkwood's classic platform, the upper and heel were made of fabric embroidered with gold thread, trimmed with gold-colored leather. Priced near a hefty $7,000 mark, one might be temped to think they were actually made gold.
United Nude Spring 2011 Shoes Bring Architecture To Your Feet
I like United Nude shoes because their price point is very (really, very) reasonable for a high-quality, well-designed pair of shoes. Created by architect Rem D Koolhaas and shoemaker Galahad Clark, their designs can get too conceptual at times, but in their collections you can always find wearable shoes that will stand out in the crowd, day or night.
For Spring 2011, United Nude brings us a fresh batch of hits. Whether it's the wood paneled Abstract wedge ($365) - an answer to Finsk I suppose, the more tame Block heel ($315) or the flat ($185) - featuring that same block detail, you can find a pair of shoes for any occasion, but with a twist.

Loeffler Randall And Suno Collaborated On New Fall 2011 Shoes
Suno have presented their Fall 2011 collection a few weeks ago and besides a myriad of wonderful prints, it also included shoes from a new Loeffler Randall For Suno collaboration. With no flats in sight, these Loeffler Randall For Suno Fall 2011 shoes were all towering wedges. Some made of black or beige suede, others made with a distinctive Suno print either in gold, purple or bright blue.
"Since we had such a successful collaboration for Spring," says Jessie Randall, president and creative director of Loeffler Randall, "Suno and LR decided to work together again for Fall 2011. This was collaboration in the true sense of the word - bringing Suno's beautiful, distinctive prints together with our simple and modern shoe ...
Catherine Malandrino Fall 2011 Accessories Close-Up
The new Catherine Malandrino Fall 2011 collection provides plenty of accessories to choose from. Perhaps what will become an It item is the Paris - New York oversize python tote in navy, red and white. For evening we have small leather, embroidered or bejeweled pochettes. Necklaces, bracelets and belts were big - made of black pearls, crystal and enamel. All this richness was contrasted by simple black shoes, either pumps or basket-weave oxfords.
Swedish Hasbeens For H&M Collaboration Brings Back The Clog
Thought the clog trend Celine started last year was over? Think again. H&M announced their collaboration with the iconic Swedish Hasbeens shoe label. This spring they'll bring the classic Swedish Hasbeens wooden-sole to the masses.
Swedish Hasbeens For H&M collaboration includes three wooden-soled styles - gladiator style strappy wedges, heeled summer sandals and peep-toe slip-on wedges. What makes this collaboration even better is that the shoes are made from environmentally friendly materials, which is not something you can say often about fast fashion.
When normally you'd have to pay anywhere between $200 and $300 dollars for a Swedish Hasbeens pair wooden-sole sandals, this spring you'll be able to purchase the three styles of Swedish Hasbeens For H&M under $100 dollars.
"These Hasbeens for ...
Focus: Lanvin For H&M Accessories and Shoes
While most of the clothes in the collection look luxurious and expensive (Alex Perry reference for the Aussies) the jewelry simply can't keep up. I suppose attempting to recreate Lanvin's jewelry in plastic and ribbon was too much of a stretch.
But I sure as hell will be fighting for those sunglasses!
And yes, it seems to be a Lanvin For H&M day today.

Pierre Hardy for Gap Fall 2010 Shoes
These amazing peep-toe wedge booties are from Pierre Hardy's affordable footwear Fall 2010 collection created for Gap.
The shoes will debut next week, on Tuesday, at all Gap locations and Gap.com. These Peirre Hardy booties will cost you a measly $195.
That's a nice change in Gap news, isn't it. No more logo drama.
Prada Spring 2011 Accessories Close-Up
While I have mixed feelings about the apparel in Prada's Spring 2011 collection. I have no doubt in my heart and mind about the love I feel towards these accessories!
The woven Mary Janes; the striped platforms and handbags; the detailed sunglasses. Amazing!

Proenza Schouler Fall 2010 Runway Shoes Available At Opening Ceremony!
Run. No. Teleport to the closest phone and order these Proenza Schouler runway shoes from Opening Ceremony. These shoes never went into production, so they are literally one-of-a-kind. Remember when I said that Proenza Schouler's designs are too seasonal to be worth splurging your hard earned cash (credit?) on them, if you're on a tight budget? Well, this cancels it out, since you're going to be the only one (out of six) who has these. That is if you have $1000 laying around and you're an European shoe size 38 or 40.
The mules, $750 at Opening Ceremony.
The booties, $1000 at Opening Ceremony.
