Swarovski Eyewear - SunglassesThe crystal business is clearly going good, because Swarovski decided to branch out into two more categories – eyewear and men’s jewelry.

Swarovski teamed up with Marcolin (who also produces eyewear for Tom Ford, Roberto Cavalli and Dsquared) as their licensee to create a 12 piece sunglasses collection that will be out later this January.

The Swarovski sunglasses line surprisingly (for the better) won’t be overloaded with crystal embellishments but rather inspired by the crystal shape and form as a whole.

Some will take on the aviator style, some will channel Jackie O, others will have 70’s inspired oversize square frames, but all will have at least a little bit of Swarovski crystals on them. The collection will retail in Swarovski stores, department stores and over 400 optical stores for the price range of $360 to $495.
