Claude Montana book coming out!
This is quite the exciting news. For the past few months Claude Montana himself and journalist Marielle Cro have been working on a coffee-table book documenting Montana’s glorious career. The book will include photos and interviews with insiders who got to witness Montana’s glory years.
Claude Montana practically invented the strong shoulder and is responsible for millions of women around the world walking around with shoulders twice their size (at least).
Back in Claude Montana’s glory years, in the 80′s and early 90′s, it seemed that he, Thierry Mugler and Jean Paul Gaultier would rule the fashion world forever with their bold aesthetics and exaggerated silhouettes. But, as all good things must come to an end, the trend changed and so minimalism was in and shoulder pads were out.
The Claude Montana book will be out Nov 2 in France. We, the U.S and U.K, will have to wait few more months, until early next year, for the book to come out.
